Beginners Tactics for Double-Hand Poker

[ English ]

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in a great game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the croupier, unlike most other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to worry about other, more advanced people winning their $$$$.

A further Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game pace, newcomers are able to take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty choices.

It is also simpler to gamble on for a long time with only a small amount of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the croupier gets 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
