Beginners Schemes for Double-Hand Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, not like almost all other poker games that players play against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their $$$$.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, newcomers are able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty choices.

It is also simpler to bet on for an extended time with just a small bit of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the house is dealt seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
